We are very excited and grateful because today we received the news that we have been awarded the Creu de Sant Jordi 2025, one of the highest awards given by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

This award is a recognition of the trajectory of La Cubana, and therefore of the work, passion and spirit of play of all the people who have passed through this company and brought their grain of sand to it throughout these 45 years. From actresses, actors, technicians, tailoring, makeup, production, administration, communication, friends, family and collaborators… EVERYONE.

We also want to thank the audience, who is the one who has really pushed us to continue playing at making theatre all this time. This award is as much yours as it is ours.

This recognition encourages and spurs us to continue working to bring new projects to the theatre. See you on stage!!!
