La Cubana was born in Sitges from amateur theater. Since then it has made history. It has made laugh millions of viewers and it has created an addiction to the theater, it has invented cult characters such as Estrellita Verdiales or Les Teresines and has been an inspiration for a whole generation of actors. “Més enllà de La Cubana” is the essential biography of the company. The documentary directed by Jordi Call, and produced by Televisión de Catalunya and Minoria Absoluta, reviews the 42-year history of an unrepeatable and much-loved phenomenon, which urgently needed a deserved biography.
